I think in the past 6 years I have fucked myself over ROYALLY. When I was 15, I never had any friends, I was always alone, and pretty happy/active. I started smokin when I was 16 and getting friends. Then I'd wait to do something cool till they were around. And suffer in my lonely boredom in the meantime. Then I'd wait because it's hot. Or I'm lazy and just took 4 xanax and smoked a bowl. I used to have some kind of interest in life. Going to bars and clubs by yourself isn't as fun. People get heckled/stared at for eating alone or watching a movie alone. I think I dunno how to amuse myself anymore and I'm becoming a boring person. The only person I talk to is my bf I hang out with on weekends. It seems like he's losing interest and I'm growing more codependent because alone I'm pretty much useless and boring. I'm always afraid of making conversation. I dunno what to say. I've turned into such a horrible introvert in 6 years. I'm out of pot. So that should help. But any tips? I'm on free med insurance/shrinks but yeah....free ones I see once a month... And the calendar usually just has my appointments and when my meds run out. =/
retarded gush of emoness after watching this random video on buzzfeed which is supposed to be "inspiring" or something but damn.... kinda pathetic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7X7sZzSXYs&playnext=1&videos=qq-Up57M4hY
>>314859 Are you a woman or are you a homosexual male? I have a hard time seeing a woman with no friends. Do you and your bf have any similar interests? Spend more time with your bf and have some fun. I admit i used to suck at being social, but with some work you can find ways to hold a conversation. This applys with both genders, but try to find a talent that a lot of people dont have, this might take a year or two,but in the end its worth it. Find something that you want to do like drawing or music even if you are not good at it at first practice for a year or two until you get really good. When people notice how skilled you are the chances of people talking to you are a lot higher. This advice is for getting possible friends later on in life. A couple of years ago i was an outcast, but i stuck with a skill i loved doing and now i am good at it. Regardless of my social status thanks to my talent people talk to me. Btw stop smoking pot it robs you of your youth! I am lonely now only because i hate being fake.
>>314863 what skill? also, pot lowers your iq, but don't expect the addicts to not denial rage over proven fact. btw, we owns this board. owns it! and /con/ too...
>>314866 It looks like we own this board. Theres no doubt we own /con/,that board is most certainly ours! As for skills,as long as its something you enjoy it really is worth pushing yourself to a higher level. Mine is more of a ability than a skill, but alot of people call it a skill. I am a weight lifter and i did it because with my old job you had to lift alot of crap and i was weak,so i started pumping iron. It sucks trying to work out all of the muscle groups though! I just dont have enough time to work every muscle so i chose my favorite muscle groups to work out. What sucks is i cant make it to the gym everyday though,so i have to work twice as hard! Thanks to my weight lifting people ask me for tips and people started noticing me,but without my weight lifting people wouldn't even notice me,but i did it to better myself, not to impress others. When you want a ability or skill you have to do it for you and the attention is just a bonus. Pot sucks btw. My dads an idiot because he smokes pot so much.
>>314866 I also new a guy that smoked alot of pot and i know he destroyed so many brain cells! Last time i saw him he was like a zombie and sometimes he forgets where he is...When i mention skills i just thought about my other sister. She just went to college and i miss her,but she is not a very social person, but she is very good at drawing and she gets alot of attention because of it. She started out drawing stick figures and now she draws like a pro. Its very very hard to get to where you want to be,but i started from the very bottom and it really is worth the all of the effort and frustration.
>>314870 2 weeks later... I think not using his brain is what made him stupid, or doing other things that cause real damage. I don't know the details of pot, but I know that people who use it get 2-4 points lower on iq tests. It takes months for the effects to wear off, but they do wear off, which is why I didn't think it caused physical damage. It was long ago, I don't remember all of it.
