im an atheist (not agnostic) but i believe religion give faith,motivation and love to billions of people over the planet. although many deaths have came from religion, i think the positives out-weigh the cons by a long shot.
Are people so frightened that they need an imaginary friend to protect them and give them everlasting life? Is one imaginary friend better than than the others? If man is to survive and evolve (in a sentient sense) we need to remove this vestigial tail from our bodies. Its like continuing to wear diapers, even though you've started college.
