Honestly I don't know what causes this but almost every time while opening some tabs Opera crashes. Only happens here on ichan :( The sauce seems to be LinkBucks - Opera mentions something about some unexpected tags in the crashlogs. So, is there the possibility that someone will have a look at this?

I use to use jdownloader at Anon-ib, it does a much better job of parsing links. Don't highlight anything in the thread, just copy/paste the location from your browser address bar. No promises though, I don't have JD on this computer so I can't check it out for you.

Are all those threads over there at /p/ created by bots or real humans? However. Either the posters or the creators of the bots are braindead idiots which all deserve a long painfull beating. How can someone choose file names like "Amateur_Couple2.rar"? That is plain stupid and all it causes is a very fast deletion of the file. I was trying to download just 2 month old uploads and do you know what? Every file is already deleted. Could you please write new rules down that forbid obvious file names and that also force the encryption of file names in the archives? I think it is not necessary to mention a good password protection... I think every thread that doesn't follow these rules should be immediately deleted. They will learn it very fast because of that. ( ... only if every chan would do it of course).

I don't mind any of the hosts being posted, it's the spammers that should be banned. Does the board really need multiple niquee threads, for example. No matter what host is mentioned, someone will complain about it. Someone will hate it. Someone will beg the mods to get rid of it. But the bottom line is, if you don't like the host, don't down load it. And if you don't like a host, upload that set or video to another host for the rest of the board. Out of the 10,000s who visit here, only a couple are complaining. And I doubt those complainers have ever posted anything at all. They want everyone to bend over backwards to please them while they don't give a fuck about anyone else. And it's not just this board. These guys are everywhere. Really, they are just bullies who shouldn't be listened to for the most part. But they are right about the spammers.
I gotta say:- Unibytes is the absolute worst because it does NOT complete for free users. Throttled to 40kbs (on the large files only it seems) & waits also. It is aimed to make you buy premium. Oron is just wierd so often. Waits are crazy. Try the 'drivers' workaround. Extabit at least has normal speed & can therefore often complete if not an extremely large file. Not savvy with shareflare. ...Cycle net connection (disconnect) to avoid wait times for many hosts, for deposit (also put 'ss' after // in url for under 100mb. Clearly the only workaround for unibytes is to PAY. Ban it.

Also I thought agitating to force these files to be available to free users was in the general good & was aimed at in the site rules. iChan is almost alone in allowing this subtefuge to continue unchallenged. I see far better file hosts while I'm on tor. The ones that are used by far less people, therefor faster with almost no limitations or ads. Why not use them here?
