So /tech/ies, What do you guys think is the superior OS between the two? Is it Mac? Or maybe PC.....Your call, Just tell me why! inb4 Linux is better.

Ok just for the books I'm going to say this, first there is no better operating system they all have there pro's and con's. However it more so depends on the person using it. If it is some dumbshit like the person above me then yes a mac is right for you. But if you enjoy games extensive software, and programing, and just about everything else you should go with Linux or PC. Because the mac operating system is not built for carying heavy loads. Think of it this way, mac is the sport car yes it is fast and it looks great but it costs a shitload and if you get into one little accident then the whole thing is fucked to hell. P.C on the other hand is like the work truck, not as fast still looks good and operates well can hold all kinds of things lots of cargo room and you can do anything you want with it anything. then there is Linux which is like the kind of car you make in your garage wich can be better than p.c or mac depending on how much time you put into it. enough saidÂ

If you are wiling to give up flexibility in favor of fewer bugs - go with the MAC. If you want to do stuff you just thought up, and want to find freeware or cheapware made by someone who already solved the problem - go with Windows XP for now, and Windows 7 in a year or two. If you love to think up problems and hack together solutions on your own - OR - you refuse to spend even one penny on software - go for Linux. If you are a software God, go for Linux, except you already knew this, didn't you ?

Linux ftw, in Windows you are limited from a lot of things, with Linux you are able to fully control the computer, Sure on Windows you are able to play videogames and do a lot of other shit but when that problem gets fixed in Linux then it will totally pwn Windows (actually you will be able to play videogames on Linux when Gaikai and OnLive get released, the next-generation videogame platforms).
