I made my mom start using ubuntu. It was a bit of an adjustment for me, but of she didn't know how to use windows to begin with so it wasn't really any different for her and now I don't have to fix it every other fucking day.

Sadly I must use TEH WINDBLOWS because gaems.

there are lots of programs u can use for playing games on linux (Wine/Cedega/PlayOnLinux) so there are ways around that even tho micro$hit likes 2copyright the drivers etc.. (lol reaper u)

I just switched back to a mac mini. I'm moving to California and don't want to look like a rube. I started on the apple II E and the atari doing midi for a band I was in. That was yeers ago. I've used all three systems. They all suck for different reasons. Linux sucks a little bit harder.

I dont do midi so I cant say.
Linux rules for doing graphics. Using the same programs like GIMP, Inkscape and Blender on Windows vs Linux. Linux wins its way faster.
